Inside Outside Branding

Inside Outside are the people to call when your house needs de-cluttering and landscaping. Danita & Sean will sort you out. This brief was for a logo and branding package that was fun but professional, and we decided to combine those ideas inside a typographical image.

HDC Branding

hdclogoThe Hobart Distribution Centre is responsible for delivery of the Mercury and other subscription publications to suburbs around the city. We recently did a re-branding for the new owner, which included logo, cards, brochures & signs for the shop front in Mellifont St.

The little guy reminds us of old-school newspaper delivery, and the logo is casual, friendly and energetic.

Court Book

E-mail Print PDF

This is a large illustration and design project from 2006 for the Department of Justice Victims Support Service. The brief was for a colour illustrated booklet to help kids who are needed to attend court to become familiar with various processes. I devised a pair of Tassie animal characters - Lenah the kangaroo and Lonnie the Tasmanian devil - who acted as guides in the book. The following year a modified version was published by the Queensland justice department.

In 2008 we published another Tassie version, this time a guide for adults sans cute animals.

RoadSpace Interactive game

t-roadspaceThe Keys2drive website has been launched, featuring a Flash driving game which we were commissioned to develop. The object of the game is to judge and maintain Crash Avoidance Space on the road, and is intended for novice drivers.

My work was mostly the illustration and design side, while Matt handled programming, ie the hard work on what turned out to be a massively complex project. Very cool though. Our interface is based on a classic EK Holden car ride through psychedelic towns with traffic hazards popping up at various stages. Game navigation is via mini road signs, with a nice sliding effect to transition between game stages.

The game is on the website here.
